This is a 90 minute, restorative yoga class that includes cues for pregnant women. We start with a gentle warm-up practice and then make our way into the restorative practice. Restorative yoga targets the parasympathetic nervous system, allowing for the relaxation response to take place. Once in a relaxed state, the body can begin to truly rest and restore. Themes of gentle, persevering compassion for all parts of yourself are interwoven throughout.
